She has received two Bachelor's Degrees in the fields of Pure Mathematics and Chemistry, and a Minor in Armenian Studies. She is a self-taught painter and relies on experience to teach her new skills. She completed her first painting, entitled “Orange Fields”, in 2017. She has studied Western art history from the Renaissance period up through the 18th century at Fresno State University, where she also studied printmaking. She has used a variety of painting mediums, including acrylic, though she prefers to work in oil and charcoal mediums.

In 2023, Olivia Berdjouhi was selected to join the board of the Clovis organization, Alley Art the Clovis Way, as the Supervising Artist. Her role in this position is to create and oversee the installation of murals upon approval by the City of Clovis.

Most of her pieces focus on depicting nature and the relation that humans have with their environment. Her subject matter is often derived from her own experiences, her heritage, and her faith. She relies on the use of classical Biblical imagery to help evoke a powerful sense of emotion. Her process also involves the utilization of vibrant, bright, overexaggerated colors to additionally express emotion through hues as well as relying on the thematic and symbolic imagery that nature provides.
